Returns and Complaints

The customer may, within 14 days, after receiving the product, proceed with its return and/or claim for any defects (except for normal wear and tear of the product).

For this purpose, the return/claim must be formalized by email sent to the address apoiocliente@scarpin.pt. In the exhibition, the Customer must expressly indicate the reasons for his/her return/complaint, always mentioning the order number and the data with which he/she made the order/purchase.

The website support team https://scarpin.pt/, will coordinate with the Customer how to proceed with the return of the merchandise, in case it is justified, SCARPIN assuming the costs of returning the same and the costs of a new delivery in cases of defect of the merchandise.

In situations where the reasons for the return are not the responsibility of SCARPIN, the return will be accepted, only after checking the good condition of the returned parts and their packaging, and the amount paid by the Customer will be refunded, deducted from the delivery transport costs ( even if these were assumed by SCARPIN) and the return shipping costs. As a result, SCARPIN reserves the right not to accept product returns without prior notice, as mentioned above, and that do not comply with the same conditions of compliance on the date of delivery to the Buyer (namely products that have undergone any type of use, transformation, damage and/or lack of original packaging/ accessories/ additions).

From customers who place orders through the website https://scarpin.pt/, the necessary elements will be collected to carry out the entire commercial transaction online and for future contacts that may be necessary to establish, in order to ensure the best customer service.

The Customer guarantees that the personal data provided are true and accurate, and undertakes to notify any changes to them. Any loss or damage caused to the online store or third parties resulting from incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information on the registration forms will be the sole responsibility of the Customer.

The services provided by SCARPIN will always comply with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law - Law No. 67/98, of 26 October, whereby the personal data provided by Customers are collected by SCARPIN for the sole purpose of account management of Customers, invoicing, communication with Customers, statistical analysis and direct marketing actions, assuming a commitment to privacy and security in the treatment of each Customer's personal data.

2. General Provisions

Using the Online Store implies full and unreserved acceptance of all the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy, in force at each time you access the Online Store. These Terms and Conditions exclusively regulate the purchase and sale contracts entered into through the SCARPIN Online Store between the Final Consumer (hereinafter also «User») and SCARPIN, (hereinafter only «SCARPIN»), as well as any other commercial transaction made through the Online Store.

If you do not agree with any of the provisions of both documents, you should not access or use the Online Store.

SCARPIN may, at any time, change, partially or completely, these Terms and Conditions, so it is recommended that you consult them prior to any use of the Online Store.

 

3. General Sales Conditions

This text defines the functioning of the Online Store and explains its sales conditions. SCARPIN Online Store is an e-commerce site dedicated to the sale of footwear and accessories. The sale of products on the SCARPIN Online Store is only permitted to persons over 18 years of age, who are legally able to enter into contracts.

SCARPIN is the legal person responsible for sales on the website https://scarpin.pt/, and the conclusion of purchase and sale contracts through the Online Store are only available to End Consumers.

Pursuant to Law 24/96, of July 21, a Final Consumer is anyone to whom goods are supplied, services rendered or any rights transferred, intended for non-professional use, and therefore not intended for resale.

A SCARPIN reserves the right not to process any order placed by anyone who is not a Final Consumer, or which does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

The products presented in the online catalog are limited to the existing stock. In case of unavailability of any article, SCARPIN will inform the Customer. For some products, properly identified, the order may be limited to a certain number of copies.

When you visit the Online Store or send an email to SCARPIN is communicating electronically. Thus, the User accepts that, for the purposes of this Agreement, any communications by the SCARPIN they will also be promoted electronically, thus satisfying these declarations all the legal requirements inherent to the written form. This fact does not limit your legal rights, namely as a consumer.

 

5. Prices and products

The products offered for sale are those listed in the online catalog available at https://scarpin.pt. These products are described and presented as accurately as possible. The photographs are illustrative, so it is recommended the detailed consultation of the product characteristics.

Prices listed in the website's catalog https://scarpin.pt are in Euros and include VAT at the legal rate in force at the time of purchase, to which the respective applicable postage costs will be added. The prices and specifications of the products contained on this website may be changed by SCARPIN, without any prior notice.

 

6. Order delivery and shipping costs

All orders confirmed by SCARPIN will be delivered by an external carrier to the address that the Customer specified for delivery at the time of ordering. The estimated delivery time after order confirmation is 3 to 5 working days for Mainland Portugal, 5 to 7 working days for Mainland Spain and 15 working days for the Autonomous Regions and the rest of the world.

In the event of a stockout, the customer will be contacted by email about the new expected delivery date, and may keep or cancel the order.

Additional information regarding expected delivery times can be requested through the email address apoiocliente@scarpin.pt.

Shipping costs borne by the Customer are calculated taking into account the weight of the goods and will be added to the order before its finalization.

 

7. Payment methods

The Customer can pay for his purchase through ATM Reference (references valid for 5 days after placing the order), MB WAY, credit card and Paypal.

 

8. Order cancellation

The customer may withdraw from the order, as long as it has not yet been processed by SCARPIN. The cancellation of the order must be formalized by email sent to the address apoiocliente@scarpin.pt.

The Customer must mention the same data as when placing the order, under penalty of ineffectiveness of the withdrawal.

 

9. Non-acceptance of the order

SCARPIN reserves the right not to accept the order, informing the Customer, in the following cases:

  1. a) Out of stock;
  2. b) Unavailability of the article;
  3. c) If SCARPIN considers that there is misconduct on the part of the buyer or any inconsistency in the personal data registered.

 

10. Returns and Complaints

11. Limitation of Liability

We make every effort to ensure that the information presented is free from typographical errors and, whenever these occur, we will correct them as soon as possible. If the information presented does not correspond to the characteristics of the product, the Customer has the right to return it pursuant to point 10.

All texts and images reproduced or represented on the website https://scarpin.pt/ are the exclusive property of SCARPIN and therefore strictly reserved to SCARPIN and protected under copyright as well as intellectual property rights with respect to third parties.
