It all started with Graça Nunes de Carvalho and her great taste for fashion, namely her passion for shoes... and good, well-made, elegant, beautiful and comfortable shoes! As she had this desire and had not yet found anything on the Portuguese market that satisfied her desires, on a trip she took with her family to Italy, she discovered and was inspired by Sapatos ideals!

This is how SCARPIN was born, opening its first store in Cascais in September 1990 with high-quality shoes and accessories produced mainly in Italy.

Later, in 2005, it also opened in Lisbon, on Rua Castilho, one of the most prestigious shopping streets.
